MASSAGE THERAPY
I am often asked if I still do massage therapy, now that I'm a doctor. The answer is an unqualified YES!
Massage is an extremely powerful and profound healing modality, providing a nurturing environment where stress can dissolve and pain can be relieved. There is no reason to not incorporate this amazing tool into my practice. In fact, I find it a pity that more medical clinics do not offer massage.
Please be aware, however, that I cannot and do not make naturopathic recommendations during massage appointments. For one, it is outside of my scope as a licensed massage therapist to do so, and for another, your massage is a time to let go of thinking and doing and simply enjoy. I am happy to address those issues at a separate appointment.
